The main goal of the NGIatlantic.eu Open Calls is to incentivize EU – US NGI teams to carry out experiments using EU and/or US-based experimental platforms. This will take the form of funding to be provided through a cascade grant process for the EU counterparts of the teams formed.
For the third time this year, from 1st December 2020 to 26th February 2021, researchers and innovators across the EU in collaboration with US teams will have the possibility to fund their NGI experiments. This EU-funded cascade grant initiative, provided under the umbrella of the NGI program, has already funded a total of 40+ SMEs, Researchers, and Non-profit organizations from the EU and the US that are contributing together to build a secure, fair, inclusive, and human-centric next-generation Internet. This contribution is deployed via research experiments, carried out on innovative experimental platforms on both sides of the Atlantic.
The priority coverage areas of the NGIatlantic.eu 3rd open call is twofold: the EU – US Experimental Platforms interconnection, and the NGI Priority topics where results are already available for experimentation on EU – US platforms.
Deadline: 26th February 2021, 17:00 CET
